ROALD DAHL DAY - congratulations to the 3 winners of the Art competition today; Emily in Year 4, Hrishikesh in Year 7 and Yousef in Year 6. Here are a few of the fantastic illustrations that were entered by our talented pupils....

‘We are delighted to announce the first exhibition of the academic year in the Gallery at Brighton College Abu Dhabi. Matt Ryder is a fine artist and illustrator living and working in the UAE. The show will consist of both his humorous illustration work and caricature collection as well as a selection of small and large scale wildlife paintings. Ryder will also be working with the talented pupils of Brighton College Abu Dhabi to create a large mural which will be documented and showcased in the weeks to come. The exhibition will open on September 23rd and will run until the end of October.’

ROALD DAHL Competition - Make your own sketch of a character from one of Roald Dahl's stories. Use pen and watercolour paint to achieve a similar effect and style to Quentin Blake's illustrations. Drop your entry to the Art Office before 8am on Thursday 12th September. Prizes will be announced, for the best sketch, in assembly.
