Islamic patterns, printmaking, mural design and Caligraffiti with Year 9.

 

A couple of fantastic mural designs from Abdullah and Jade in 9 East....we are looking forward to seeing these ideas develop into final pieces!

Year 7 PAPER SCULPTURE: The Year 7 pupils have been experimenting with paper sculpture techniques to create their own fashionable hats. We think Karl Lagerfeld would be impressed with these talented designers!

Stars of the week: Congratulations to Caitlyn Hurn in 8 East for her abstract and colourful work. Congratulations also to Mouza Al Sheryani in 7 East for an excellent start to the Paper sculpture project.

Year 9 & 11 printmaking using foam hexagons, lino lettering, feathers and fresh octopus and fish! Gyotaku is a Japanese method of printmaking using fresh fish.
