Here is the holiday work for those pupils studying GCSE & A-level Art or Photography next term:



If you are starting Year 10 Art GCSE:
1. Familiarise yourself with the 'History of Art Timeline' (see Miss Wilson to get a copy).
2. Visit at least one gallery & exhibition. Take photographs, collect leaflets, postcards and information. Make sketches & notes about your visit.
3. Start thinking about the theme 'Metamorphosis'
 
 
If you are progressing into Year 11 Art GCSE:
1. Complete your History of Art timeline fully, this will be assessed at the start of term.
2. Visit at least one gallery & exhibition. Take photographs, collect leaflets, postcards and information. Make sketches & notes about your visit.
3. Start thinking about what you want to do for your Metamorphosis final piece.
 

If you are starting Year 12 Art A level:
1. Visit at least one gallery & exhibition. Take photographs, collect leaflets, postcards and information. Make sketches & notes about your visit.
2. Start researching the theme 'Still life & Vanitas'.
3. Start a glossary of Art related terminology & key words
 
If you are starting Year 12 Photography A level:
1. Visit at least one gallery & exhibition featuring photographic works. Take photographs, collect leaflets, postcards and information. Make sketches & notes about your visit.
2. Start a timeline on the 'History of Photography'.
3. Start researching the theme 'Portraiture'
